There is no other way to describe beloved actor Betty White than icon, and her death on December 31, 2021 is a tremendous loss.
In her nearly 100 years of life, the comedian brought so much joy to our lives through her trailblazing roles on sitcoms like Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show as well as movie including The Proposal and Lake Placid. She’s won several Emmys over the course of her nine decade career and was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame in 1995. Off screen, White was a passionate animal health advocate who worked tirelessly with organizations like the Los Angeles Zoo Commission and the Morris Animal Foundation.
