What We’re Wearing This Summer
At this moment in the US, we’re looking forward to a summertime that has slow and thoughtful re-emergence into the world. Perhaps it’s a return to the office—or a return to our friends and families across state lines. Either way, we’re feeling ready to embrace super functional (and super cute) garments wherever we go.
Our style this season starts with basics like bike shorts and tees, and swings to the other end of the wardrobe spectrum with flouncy and floral dresses that will never go out of style. (And of course, a swimsuit for good measure). We’re also mixing and matching casual pieces, like outdoor hiking pants, into our workwear rotation because if there’s one thing working from home taught us, it’s that we prefer being comfortable. 😆
So let us know what you’re wearing these days! We’re currently reaching for variations on these 21 high-quality, ethically made wardrobe staples. These are the pieces we imagine ourselves wearing for years and loving them each time we do. Many of the garments below are also investment pieces from small, independent brands, since that’s who we’re excited to support now more than ever. You’ll most likely find us personally saving up for one or two garments, searching for sales on others, and either thrifting or sourcing lookalikes from our own closets!
