Sometimes, it’s what’s on the outside that counts, and I say that without a shred of vanity. As of this month, your products are coming to you in a new box, made of carefully selected, 100% post-consumer recycled materials that are single-stream recyclable (meaning almost everyone can recycle it). There are also some awesome beauty products inside, including Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty mascara. For the month of January, we are donating a portion of the proceeds to Gomez’s Rare Impact Fund*, a nonprofit devoted to helping people get access to mental health resources. Here’s to a better 2022. — Elizabeth Siegel
Allure Beauty Box will donate $5 to the Rare Impact Fund for every new member joining in January 2022, and 5% of all current member box net sales during the month.
*Rare Impact aims to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and give people access to the resources they need to support their mental health. The Rare Impact Fund supports local, national, and global organizations that have a direct impact on youth mental health, with a focus on underserved communities. Rare Beauty donates 1% of all sales to the Rare Impact Fund and raises additional funds with philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and individuals to increase access to mental health services in educational settings. It is a fiscally sponsored project of the Hopewell Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity. To learn more, visit: rareimpact.com.
