The reality star and Berry were both in attendance at the early-December awards show, and when Berry was onstage, a Twitter user read into Kardashian’s facial expression. They posted, “Okay who saw that ‘I don’t care’ sorta look on @khloekardashian when @halleberry was on stage, not cool man.”
Kardashian swiftly responded to the claim. “That’s disappointing my face gave that expression,” she tweeted. “Halle Berry is such a force. Absolutely Stunning and beyond talented. Tbh I’m barely in my own body right now. Please don’t read into anything. Also please don’t tear me apart because you assumed something.”
It’s unclear what Kardashian is referring to in her tweet. There is, of course, the recent news that Tristan Thompson allegedly conceived a baby with another woman while he was still with Kardashian. “Khloé was upset to find out that he cheated again,” a source told People. “She just can’t believe that he is going to be a dad again.”
This is not the first time Khloé Kardashian has been open about her mental health. In October she spoke to Shape about the importance of feeling good inside as well as on the outside. “It’s cliché, but it’s all about mind, body, and soul,” she said. “If I am not mentally strong, then I physically feel like I can’t do what I want to do. So it is really not about the physical appearance. That’s a by-product. You can tell when someone is genuinely happy from the inside out.”
Besides this, the 2021 PCAs occurred without much drama. There was some nostalgic fashion, including Christina Aguilera’s nod to “Dirrty,” Chrishell Stause’s dark hair debut, and Khloé’s sis Kim Kardashian once again covering herself in black Balenciaga.
