I’m sick and have to stay at home a few days, should. I not use deodorant to do a short detox?

I have been using aluminum free for a year, I’ve never detoxed for more than a day but now I’m on day three without applying. Honestly I smell bad and then It goes away. Is it beneficial for the smell to leave the body? Or does it not really matter?
